This 36 credit hour master’s program is designed for working sport management professionals or those seeking initial access to the field. The format allows students to complete online courses during spring and fall semesters and blended courses (online and on-campus) during the summer. During the summer on-campus sessions, students network and interact with other cohort members and their faculty. This is ideal for professionals with demanding schedules who need to balance work and family while continuing their education. The online master’s degree is expected to be completed in eighteen months. Tuition is offered at the in-state rate for all students with the goal of increased affordability and access.
Students graduating from the Online Master's Program in Sport Management have increased their value, thereby moving up in the company, or being promoted to positions of upper or middle management. A number of graduates from this program have also chosen to continue their academic career in a Ph.D. program. Graduates have been very successful in achieving their personal career goals.
