Fund Your Future
By registering for classes, charges will appear on your student account, and you should review your account to assure that any assistantships, fellowships, or other aid has posted to cover your charges. A monthly payment plan is available to all students for $35 per semester or $55 per year. More information can be found HERE. If you have questions, contact the Office of Student Accounts. If the amount due is not paid, all courses will be deleted. Students will lose their seat in the courses originally on their schedule with no guarantee they can get back into that course/section.
TUITION AND FEES
For information on costs, visit Tuition and Fees. Tuition and Fees are approved by the WVU Board of Governors in June.
TUITION WAIVERS
Tuition and Fees at WVU are broken into three parts: University Tuition, University Fees and College Tuition. Students receiving a waiver of University Tuition are still required to pay their University Fees and College Tuition prior to each payment deadline, even if their tuition waiver has not been processed. Students who do not have their graduate tuition waiver processed in a timely manner will be required to pay their total account balance (including tuition) by the payment deadline, If the amount due is not paid, all courses will be deleted from your schedule. Thus, students should check with their department far enough in advance each semester to ensure that their current term tuition waiver has been processed.
PAYING ONLINE
Students are encouraged to monitor and pay their bill online by logging on to the STAR Information System at portal.wvu.edu. You can pay by credit card or electronic check through our online system. Your total charges must be paid by the announced deadline. If the amount due is not paid, all courses will be deleted from your schedule.
Billing questions should be directed to the Office of Student Accounts.
