- For best results, please use either Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox as your Web browser when completing, and viewing your online application.
- I am receiving an error when filling out my phone number.
- Only enter numerical characters, no dashes or spaces.
Application Fees
- How do I qualify for an application fee waiver?

Students are eligible for an application fee waiver from the Office of Graduate Admissions and Recruitment if one of the following criteria applies:

Current WVU or WVU Medicine (full-time, and/or benefits eligible) employee

Current, active United States Military personnel or Veteran
-
McNair Scholar
-
PeaceCorps or Americorps Member
- I am an International Applicant and am experiencing difficulty submitting the application fee.
- If you are receiving an error during payment submission, please contact internationaladmissions@mail@mail.wvu.edu.
Application Status Meaning
- I have submitted my application, can you please let me know its status?
- Application Submitted - This means your application has been submitted but has not yet been processed.
- Pending - This means y our application has been submitted, processed, and WVU is waiting to receive your official undergraduate transcripts.
- Complete - This means your application is complete, that it includes all WVU and intended graduate program specific documents .
- Out to Department - This means your application AND official transcripts have been received and sent electronically to the intended graduate program department for review. Your application will be sent to the department regardless of any department required documents. If your application does not move to the next status in a timely manner, please contact your intended graduate program department to determine why the application review process has paused.
- Waitlist - This means your application has been reviewed and placed on a waitlist. You should contact your intended graduate program department for further information.
- Interview - This means your application has been reviewed and you have been chosen for an interview with your intended graduate program department. You should contact your intended graduate program department for further information.
Transcripts
- Can I submit unofficial transcripts?
- Domestic (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident), and International non-health science students can use unofficial transcripts for an admission decision – they will have to send their official transcripts (to show they have earned the bachelor’s degree and have the minimum GPA) if they are accepted into a program.
- Domestic health science students must submit their official transcripts for an admission decision.

- Please review the application (deadline / requirements) online via the graduate admissions database.
- I want to talk with a representative from my program. How can I find their information?
- Please review the program contacts for each program online via the graduate admissions database.

- I am having trouble submitting my recommendation for a student. How can I troubleshoot?
